Stephen and Linda Short

Stephen Short was radically saved by the Lord Jesus Christ in Nov. 1970.  Linda heard that her former drug dealer had cut his hair and was singing for the Lord. She went to see this sight and surrendered her life to Jesus in March, 1971. They were married Dec. 26, 1971 and have served the Lord in music, drama and youth ministry over the years.

In 1995, after having portrayed the part of Jesus for 15 years in Central Assembly of God’s Easter musicals, Stephen and Linda were asked to be a part of a musical drama based on the Book of Ruth, in Israel. That was a life changing event. For nine years they continued performing biblical plays in Israel. In 2000, they lived in Israel for a total of seven months, performing plays for five of those months. During this time their gifts were stretched to include all facets of production such as writing, editing, re-writing scripts, costuming, casting, set construction, etc.

HIS MAJESTY'S MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR - ABOUT OUR NAME

The last two years have been spent working with Global Outreach based in West Virginia.  We have now come under the umbrella of our home church of 28 years, Central Assembly of God in Vero Beach, FL. We have formed a DBA "His Majesty's Magical Mystery Tour".  Here is an explanation of our name:

His Majesty’s: Belonging  to the King.
Magical:            Having extraordinary results as if by supernatural means.
Mystery:              Dramatic presentation of Biblical events, especially of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
Tour:                A trip by a theatrical company to give performances in a number of cities

VISION
God has expanded the vision: Make disciples who make disciples.  2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also”. Now Stephen and Linda want to teach the willing to do what they have learned. In the local church, community or around the world they work to equip other gifted people to tell His story to the nations. You cannot tell His story without power!
